The German government offers this scholarship for Indian students who want to do a postgraduate program in Europe. This scholarship is fully-funded and will pay for everything you need to study in Germany without any fees.

Eligibility Criteria

  • You need to be an Indian citizen residing in India to apply for this scholarship.
  • You should have a degree from an Indian university and your education should be in India.
  • Your degree should be recent (not older than six years).
  • You must possess a minimum of two years of work experience.
  • You need to meet the English proficiency criteria.
  • The scholarship application closes in November every year and it lasts for about two years.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • You need to be an Indian citizen residing in India to apply for this scholarship.
  • You should have a degree from an Indian university and your education should be in India.
  • You must have at least two years of work experience.
  • This scholarship is only for Indian students in Europe who pay their own fees and are classified as non-EU for tuition purposes.

Selection Process:

  • Your application will be assessed based on your academic achievements and your statement of intent.
  • It will also benefit you if your Indian institution and your Irish institution have some kind of collaboration or relationship.
  • There is no lower limit for your CGPA or percentage to be eligible for this scholarship.
  • You are not required to know Irish, but it will make you stand out.

You need to apply for the scholarship by May 1 every year. Some of the financial benefits are a half-off on tuition fees and a full cover for living costs. The scholarships amount to a maximum of 5000 euros (equivalent to INR 4,51,025). They last for one year and you can apply for them online.
